Collaborating workshop

The challenge results and winning teams will be presented in connection with the Deep-Breath Workshop at MICCAI 2026.

Role definition

The challenge distinguishes between several roles to ensure transparency in organization, data governance, and participation.

Role Objective Requisite / Policy
Organizer Lead and coordinate the challenge organization Individuals responsible for challenge design, governance, evaluation, and coordination. Organizers are not eligible to participate in the challenge.
Advisory committee Provide scientific and clinical guidance Individuals supporting the challenge with domain expertise, strategic advice, and feedback on design and evaluation.
Participant Take part in the challenge Participants must follow the official challenge rules and submission policies. Eligibility for ranking or awards is subject to compliance with the challenge regulations.

Participation policy for organizer-affiliated institutes

Members of the organizers’ institutes may participate in the challenge only if they are not listed among the organizers, advisors with privileged challenge access, contributors with access to non-public evaluation resources, or data providers with access to protected data.

Any additional eligibility restrictions related to prize consideration, authorship, or access to challenge resources will be specified in the official rules.
